Carol is a Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the global petrochemical industry and the ethic of Responsible Care. She is a proven leader and brings vast experience in leadership, governance, and strategy, who pursues volunteer board opportunities strategically, focusing on areas of impact for Albertans and opportunities to develop new knowledge.
In her role as a Covenant Health Board Director and member of both the Governance and Strategic Priorities Committees, those components are intertwined in healthcare and the critical work that the Covenant Foundation does to elevate the tools available to healthcare systems and those who work in them.
Carol also dedicates her time to the Alberta Board of Skilled Trades where she is the appointed Board Vice Chair, and to the Excel Society as a Board Director and Chair of their Governance Committee, in addition to her current role as the President & CEO of Women Building Futures, an established non-profit with a mission of economic security for women.
