Banff Mineral Springs Hospital
The Banff Mineral Springs Hospital provides quality, responsive medical services, including emergency, specialized orthopedic, plastic and vascular surgery, continuing care and primary care to the local community, and visitors from around the world.
Banff Mineral Springs Hospital is home to St. Martha's Place a continuing care centre named in honour of the hospital's founding Sisters, which provides a high standard of individualized care to 25 residents. The department aims to maintain and promote independence and health, prevent illness, and ensure dignity and individual self-worth, and provides an environment that encourages physical, psychological and spiritual well being.
Covenant Foundation has been proud to provide support to the facility since 2016. With support of donors and the community, Covenant Foundation has contributed the following to BMSH:
- Funds to support music therapy.
- Recreation therapy supplies, equipment and programming support.
- Cardiac monitors for increased patient mobility and independence.
